Tempo Magic App Reviews

It erased all the music from my playlist that I had on CD and uploaded to iTunes. In other words WASTE OF $$, no point in purchasing it if they want to force me to buy music Ive already paid for through iTunes. What a crock!

I dont like to post bad reviews but I also almost never "buy" apps but I paid for an app that is basically useless and feel not only disappointed but cheated. I purchased this app as a fitness professional to use for group exercise classes. First, it is confusing to use, not at all user friendly. More importantly, it skips which means I have to stop my class to get back "on" the correct timing/count. Anyone who has ever taught group exercise, especially choreographed routines on the 8 count, knows this renders it useless. Having music with correct counts, timing, and phrasing is the main reason we purchase expensive music from specialized companies. Yes! Should understand this and I hope they quickly Fix the issues, or refund my $. Hopefully fix the issues as There doesnt seem to be any good tempo apps available to professionals.

I purchased this app a couple years back. I was new to running and needed something to help me take my focus off wanting to stop and take breaks in the middle of my runs. I thought the best way to push through my runs is to run at a constant pace, to run to the beat of the music I love! Then I stumbled upon this app, and its exactly what I was looking for! Thanks to this app Ive beaten my time several times over. It really helped me become a better runner. I was no longer focusing on how tired I was and instead my focus went to running in sync with my music. It helps me push through any terrain, rocky up hills, muddy trails, and even sand. I eventually became busier with life and work, and stopped running. Now Im back to square one, and after finishing my first Spartan Race I realized I shouldve probably at least been running in the weeks leading up to the race. I signed up for two more races and Im now training for them. And Im using this app as a tool to help my legs get back in shape! I dont usually write reviews but I was disappointed to see the negative comments about this app! Especially since its impacted me in such a positive way, if it wasnt for this app I probably wouldve given up on running a long time ago! Thank you Magic Tempo!

Paid for the app because it was highly recommended, but Ive found when using the it songs tend to play out of order. When you check the app its on the right track title but playing the wrong song. I can no long use this app for my classes and feel I have wasted my money.... Sad day, such potential.

I like using the app. Noticed I can control the songs with my Apple watch except for tempo.

I use this for every workout I do. I like to run at a steady speed for 15 minutes after my main cardio workout and this awesome app allows me to run to my own music at the speed I want! Its the coolest thing Ive come across. These guys have been adding feature after feature and are great at providing support. I love this app! What else can you ask for?

What a waste of money. Installed the app, but every song I tried to use with it, isnt allowed. It said all iTunes protected songs arent allowed. Would have been nice to know before I wasted money!

If you are not on iOS 9 -- DONT UPDATE!!!! I have an ipad2 gen - still on iOS 8. I updated yesterday, and today Tempo Magic is an instant crash. Useless.

Im a group fitness instructor and dance teacher. Ive heard awesome things about this app, however I could only get it to download on my phone. It seems Im unable to get it to work on my iPad-unfortunately thats what I use to teach. Anyway help to get it to work on my iPad?

Spent $5 to figure out it only works with iTunes music. Major bummer. Should work with all music on your device.

I have reviewed the issues posted simply not correct. I have been using this product for 3 years, im a veteran aerobic instructor and use this on my i-pad and i-phone. No issues with skipping, repeating. I setup new playlists import all or part of my playlists from i tunes. I save the playlist within the product.

I bought the iphone for this app, its a perfect app for dance rehearsal or simply fo those that are concerned with the speed and tempo at which the musik plays. I luv it

As a fitness instructor teaching various formats, I need this app to set the right bpms for my classes. Its simple to use and reliable. Judy

Never had a problem with this. Love how I can control my class pace!

Love it. Wish I could set, lock and save the tempo permanently for each song without affecting the rest of the playlist. Interval classes require different tempos and it breaks the flow of the class to have to adjust it every 3 min. Unless Im missing something, please say. Thx!

I love the app. I just wish the app could rotate with the screen

Ive tried other apps but I always come back to this one to speed up and slow down my music during class. It will increase and decrease your speed incrementally as well as drastically depending on your needs. I use it to teach everything from Zumba to Silver Sneakers!

I love this app. I do different Insanity workouts (Insanity, Max 30). I adjust the music to play at 140 BPM and its perfect. 5 stars!!!!

Dont know how I ever worked out without it on the ever so boring treadmill. No longer limited to songs I can keep pace with. Now I make my favorite songs keep MY pace.
